It's basically an action beat-up game with strong RPG elements, so you swing your sword by holding Enter and performing different attacks depending on which direction you choose. A quick slash, a slow stab or a blow over the head, throwing knives. Everyone is different and you will die and die. You don't have infinite lives, you do have healing potions and automatic healing, but against some enemies you have a hard time.
You find charms, protection rings and talismans, improve three attributes, find better swords and armor, buy more energy. There are two cities, two special locations. In addition, there are also three other knights roaming around the map (the ones you didn't choose) and a menacing dragon that will realistically fry you with a single blast of fire. The goal is to collect 4 keys, get to the valley in the middle, and get the titular moonstone after killing the brutally difficult boss.
In short, a fun short game that certainly wasn't one of the big games even at the time of its creation, but basically there's nothing to complain about. Except for today's insane difficulty and life limit.
