Strategy games that are focused mainly on conquering an area are mostly limited to a small area, sometimes the entire continent or whole planet. Reunion is a bit different and you will have to fight for far more larger are - the whole solar system and that's not the end, there are eight solar system you gonna have to take care about. Story is not surprising: at the Earth there was a big rebellion led by covert extraterrestrial civilization and so few people flew to distant solar system, so they can build a new human colony. You will take on the main role in the game and you have been chosen as the leader of this new colony. For the role you will have to take care of everything, not only peaceful establishment, but above all you need to get Earth back under human control. You will therefore have to do all the things typical for all classic strategy games: build new colonies, mine minerals, transport minerals between colonies, establish scientific research, gather an army and conduct military operations against the enemy. As you can see, there's quite a lot about what you need to take care of and tthis is one of the problems with this game. In advanced stages, the game will be a bit too much and all these things create a chaos you need to learn how to control. You go to the military mission to conquer new territory and in mid action you see that people are starving on the moon. Thus you have to go and build a food factory for them. In the meantime, while you are focused on building the factory, the new Earth is under attack and you got another problem at the same time. In all this chaos, you will not notice that scientists have made huge scientific discovery that can help you.
