Beats of Rage is a customisable video game engine made by Senile Team and inspired by Sega's classic Streets of Rage series. With Beats of Rage, users can create their own beat 'em up games - no programming experience required! At the beginning of the game, you choose one of three characters (the nimble Mandy Bluegard, the strong Max Bacon and the icy Kula known from the King of Fighters series) and you can rush into the dangerous streets torn by riots. All evil is the fault of the villain mr. Y, to which you have to fight your way through many levels (some of the backgrounds are again taken from King of Fighters). The main characters can deal with street brawlers with a few basic punches, and one ultimate attack is available for tougher opponents, which, however, consumes the fighter's life energy. You usually have several attempts (credits) to complete the game. Beats of Rage offers cooperative multiplayer on one computer, where you can go through the entire campaign in two players.
