This game transports players into the intense and electrifying atmosphere of World Wrestling Federation entertainment. Featuring a roster of fan-favorite wrestlers, each with their distinct styles and moves, the game offers an authentic and action-packed wrestling experience. It is a wrestling game based on a real-life television show and published by THQ in 2002. It was the first WWE game for the Xbox console and also the last game from that universe for PC for thirteen long years, until 2015 when the first WWE 2K15 from the ongoing series was released. The original name WWF Raw (World Wrestling Federation) was changed to the already known WWE Raw (World Wrestling Entertainment) only a few months after the release due to the renaming of the wrestling company itself. The game offers the possibility to control one of 45 professional wrestlers (for example The Rock, Stone Cold, Triple H, The Undertaker or Kane) or to create your own completely unique wrestler, which the player will then lead through a series of challenging matches to the championship belt. At the same time, the player here is not deprived of the audience's favorite introductions with captivating music, attacking the opponent on the way to the ring or matches of up to four characters at once.
