Classic race game, where there is not a lot to explain. Okay, maybe it will not be the classic race - you fly in some sort of futuristic hovercraft, shaped in a form of rocket and race on the track, which are wavy, with many obstacles ahead you.It is not just about racing, but on your machine you have a limited amount of extra missiles that can be used, for example, against your enemies. As you fire the missile and hit the enemy, you will not destroy him, but significantly slow him down and you can overtake him. The basis is to zig-zag on the track, so your opponents won't hit you. You can choose from a total of 4 hovercrafts, two pilots and six tracks. Although there could be more tracks, all is justifies with a great controls, that you can configure yourself and it reacts really quickly, so you can cut sharp edges really easily and quickly. WipEout had never reached considerable success, but it's a fun racing game with hovercraft from the future that will bring you a lot of fun. A great advantage of the game is also the music, which was also released separately and its composition differs slightly in the given regions or versions. The original music for DOS was composed by Tim Wright, the Saturn version also includes a trio of songs by Rob Lord & Mark Bandola and a PAL Playstation version of the song by the artists Chemical Brothers, Leftfield and Orbital
