Who would say that in the space, there are roads, you can ride on and these roads are more complicated than the ones on the Earth. These roads are not for normal driving, they are intended for space race with space fighters (or space hovercrafts). This is the essence of an old DOS game Skyroads. It's an old 3D arcade game where, as I said, you ride a space fighter, but not a typical flying one in free space, but driving on hovering roads. At the beginning, everything seems easy - driving on the road, trying not to fall into the free space and sometimes trying to hit into some tunnel. Gradually, however, things begin to get more complicated and the roads are no longer straight, continuos. Between the different roads you have to jump. Yes, your fighter (hovercraft is probably better name for the thing you ride) can "jump". You can jump from one road to another, or jump over the various obstacles, we cannot speak about flying, because you can jump only over the short pits. Roads are becoming more complicated and you have to dodge various obstacles.
