This is the first part of the famous game trilogy, which was characterized by a really beautiful cartoon graphics.
The game's nice and cozy atmosphere is maintained by the reasonable difficulty. No puzzle is stuck, and the few combinations are solved in a moment and a few position loads. He can die and get into an unsolvable situation, so saving in multiple positions is a must, but it's not a terrible thing. The famous trick is the cave, so I drew a map from the beginning. That and knowing the function of the berries made it a quick fix. She really isn't that extensive and problematic, she just wants to paint a few squares. I consider a gradually charging amulet with various charms to be a great idea.
Typical for Westwood, beautifully painted graphics are complemented by very pleasant music by Frank Klepacki. That one really took advantage of the MT-32 and I'm still listening to some of the MIDI as I write this comment. I also have to praise the dubbing. I especially liked Brandon, who is spoken by Joe Kucan - the famous and charismatic Kane from Command & Conquer, here in a completely different role.
Overall, Kyrandia is enjoyable to play, has a good atmosphere and a number of memorable moments. She can be touching and cheerful. So, although I know a number of better adventure games, I can only recommend playing to everyone. Well, I'm going to continue with the second part right away.
