In 1994, the Strategic Simulations created a turn-based strategy from the era of Second World War - Panzer General, a year later it's free continuation Allied General. In 1996 they left the concept of World War II and created a very similar game set into fantasy world with elements of steampunk/high-tech elements: Fantasy General. In the game there is a total of 10 types of units with various upgrades from a total of four Realms. You can choose one of them and your goal is to defeat the forces of evil in the form of Shadowlord. You will fight through the battles on five continents, until you get to the final battle on the island of Fire Isle.
