Set in the expansive and intricate universe of the Ringworld, the game invited players to explore an immense artificial habitat with an array of diverse species and complex cultures. This 2D adventure game is set in the "Known Space" universe by Larry Niven, which is known around the world mainly through a large series of science fiction novels and short stories. Ringworld is a man-made planet that actually forms a huge ring revolving around a distant star (probably inspired by Bungie Studios when creating Halo: Combat Evolved). In the game, the player assumes the role of Quinn and travels to the Ringworld, where he must uncover key information that will help prevent the alien Kzinti race from starting another long war against humans. Ringworld is a classic 2D point-and-click adventure game with static screens, chats, and inventory. You can also die in many places, so saving often is recommended. Control is handled classically via the mouse, with the right button selecting an action, the left button confirming.
