The story of this game strongly reminds the Superman's fate (ok, only just a little, but still). Planet Tull was peaceful planet until it was occupied by evil fighter Sarlac. Good King Vlaros sent his son Blackthorne to earth - to protect him against this terror. After maybe 20 years Blackthorne returns to his home planet, to take it back and restore peace.
