Who wouldn't know a series of worms, right? This is a great game whose only goal is to entertain you. I must say that with success. Not only a great idea, but worms belong to the gold fund. The graphics aren't as crazy as the other parts, but when the dying worm looks at you and says Oups! and he rolls away, you laugh. before that, however, another worm sends a grenade with the words Catch! and really, he caught it. I don't eat salad....
It is a turn-based game, and in his turn the player can choose which worm to pull, move it somewhere and use one of the weapons. There are a huge number of them, from bazookas, guided missiles, grenades and their fragmentary forms, UZIs, shotguns, dynamite or comic pieces like a banana bomb. Despite this equipment, the game is not at all brutal, there is not a single drop of blood in it and everything is taken with a good portion of black humor. Each worm has one hundred health, with each weapon dealing different damage of course. However, the higher-quality ones are limited by ammunition, while ordinary pieces can be used at any time. The worm also dies instantly if it falls into water or falls off-screen.
The main advantage of the game is the level generator, thanks to which the game is different every time, players do not know where the packages with bonus weapons will appear or fall, which sometimes fall on the battlefield and spice up the ongoing game. The levels are also themed, so while one time you'll be fighting in the jungle or hell, the next time the game will throw you into a giant ice cream sundae full of lollipops and other sweets. Sometimes it happens that a worm appears in a place where you can't get out or where you can't hit anyone (e.g. under an overhang), but this can be dealt with either by using a teleport or a tool to drill through the ground.
