Horké Léto, released in 1998, is a unique DOS game that captures the essence of a whimsical summer adventure. Set in the Czech Republic, the game follows the story of three friends - Jindra, Honza, and Petr - on their memorable summer holiday. The game combines elements of adventure, humor, and puzzle-solving, creating an engaging and lighthearted experience. "I'm an ordinary boy. The boys call me Rambo and the girls call me a jerk. Otherwise, I'm Majer. Honza Majer." - the game Horké Léto begins with these words of the main character. Majer's family goes camping on an island in the middle of the Pacific, and as usual, something goes wrong and our hero wakes up alone without his family. In order to find and save her, he has to deal with henchmen, a mobster and the local fauna and flora. The graphics for the video game were created by Marek Píša. Píša and Viktor Bocan also participated in the screenplay writing. Sound and music were created by William Foldes. Most characters, excluding some female ones, were voiced by comedian Zdeněk Izer, a notable Czech impersonator. The game became a phenomenon upon its release and it immediately ranked among the most popular Czech adventures.
