Závody motoriek, ktoré usporiadávajú sú pomerne drsné: vždy keď sa Vás súper bude snažiť predbehnúť, môžete na neho útočiť (kopať ho, búchať obuškom,...) a snažiť sa ho tak zhodiť z motorky. V reálnom život by pád pri rýchlosti 200km/hod asi fakt nebol sranda, v hre sa našťastie len chvíľu šmýkate po zemi, po chvíli sa oprášite a vysadnete späť na motorku. Hra obsahuje 5 rôznych tratí a ponúka 3 herné módy: Trash mode (sadnete na motorku a rovno hrajete), Big Game Mode (šampionát, kde začínate ako úplný začiatočník a musíte sa prepracovať až ka najlepším) a Mano-a-Mano Game Mode (multiplayer, hra po sieti). Road Rash sú netradičné závody motoriek, kde sa na férovosť naozaj nehraje. Hra má skvelú atmosféru, hrateľnosť a chytľavú hudbu.
