Hráčů vždy potěší, pokud po několika letech se herní společnost rozhodne uvolnit svůj úspěšný titul jako freeware. Přesně tak se rozhodla i česká společnost Illusion Softworks av roce 2003 při uvádění Hidden & Dangerous 2 se rozhodli vydat rozšířenou verzi jednotky Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe jako freeware, aby podpořil prodej nové hry. Tím, že se jednalo původně o komerční titul, tak ve freeware světě nemá hra v podstatě konkurenci. Hra má nádherně zpracovanou grafiku, výborné vykreslení vody, hudba a zvuky skvěle dokreslují atmosféru. Hra je zasazena do období druhé světové války a vy s vaším týmem jste budete nasazován na ty nejdůležitější operace. Ve hře nejde jen o bezduché střílení, ale musíte postupovat potichu, abyste nevzbudili pozornost, ale zároveň rychle, aby mise byla co nejdříve dokončena. Spojení krásné grafiky, propracovaných misí a výborné hratelnosti dělá z této hry jednu z nejlepších starých FPS a rozhodně stojí za vyzkoušení.
