Hey,
Yes, the crash of the spaceship landing sequence in the DOS version of Civilization II is a known issue, especially in emulated environments like DOSBox. There is few things you can try: 1. Disable the spaceship animation (Skip the movie) - When the spaceship launches, don’t enter the View option or let it play automatically. Press Esc or quickly click through any animation. If possible, save right before the spaceship lands and try reloading and skipping ahead without viewing. 2. Change DOSBox settings - Try editing your dosbox.conf file: [dosbox] Sometimes setting core=dynamic or too high cycles causes instability. Try lowering cycles if the game crashes. Note: The spaceship ending in Civ2 is mostly cosmetic. Once it launches and reaches Alpha Centauri, your victory is assured (unless someone else wins earlier). If it crashes after launch, consider it a win and move on
