Game review
The Summer Olympics, what's more to say, perhaps only the fact that those who don't like the summer sports, can try the The Winter Challenge.
Before you start playing, you can choose from two modes: training and tournament. During training, you can repeat the disciplines (there are eight in total) at will, while your only possible task in each discipline is to improve your own score. Tournament is a much more fun thing. Theoretically, up to 10 players can play in it at once, unused players will be replaced by a computer (you can choose 3 difficulties). You will of course compete for medals, which a total of 24 awaits you.
Individual disciplines:
»Archery - a discipline more about observation. In four rounds, you shoot at three arrows, while using the cursor arrows you try to bring the oscillating cursor as close to the center of the target.
»Horseback riding - probably the hardest thing you can come across. You have to cross the marked path with obstacles on the horse (you jump with the space bar). , so you just have to hurry. If you drop the bars, at the end of the race they will be added to the total time as a penalty.
»Kayaking - a discipline basically similar to horseback riding, except that you don't have to jump, so reaching the finish line is no longer such a big problem.
»400m hurdles - now only disciplines will follow, where you have to press Enter as fast as possible to have the highest possible speed.
»Jump on the pole and in the height - the principle of both disciplines is exactly the same, you have to run as fast as possible and hold the space bar at the right moment. set again a little higher.
»Spear - here again a high speed and ejection of the spear at a suitable angle is necessary (beware of treads)
»Cycling - and here it is, it will finally show how much endurance you have. 5 laps are waiting for you, again you have to press Enter angrily and it may happen that even if you endure it, your keyboard will not survive for a change.
In the end, I would like to say that I recommend playing this in at least three players, it's just the real fun (even if you don't get bored yourself).
