The game Alcatraz follows the successful action game Hostage: Rescue Mission. In the game, you take on the role of one of two members (Bird, Fist) of the US Navy's special forces who must break into the Alcatraz island fortress, where the dangerous drug lord Miguel Tardiez is hiding. It is a game for two players (cooperative multiplayer in the form of splitscreen, the player himself must play as both characters), in which you control the classic army arsenal (machine gun, grenades, flamethrower, knife...), master martial arts and hide in the shadows as a ninja .
You go through the game in a side view, while in buildings the game becomes fps (the view changes to front). Within a time limit of two hours, it is necessary to complete three missions (1, explore the barracks and obtain documents testifying against the drug boss, 2, locate the factory and destroy the drugs and cash hidden inside, 3, infiltrate the residential zone and convict the boss).
Alcatraz offers a variety of gameplay modes set across three distinct buildings within the prison complex. Each mode presents its own set of obstacles and objectives, keeping the gameplay fresh and engaging. Players are tasked with navigating through these environments, confronting enemies, and ultimately aiming to overthrow the drug baron's hold on Alcatraz.
One of the unique aspects of the game is its time limit. Players are given a two-hour window to complete their mission, adding a sense of urgency and intensity to the gameplay. This time constraint requires quick thinking and decisive action, making every moment in the game crucial.
